Interview with Amido, finalist for the Digital Technology Leaders Awards

Our values are at the heart of all the projects we work on and at the heart of everything we do.
I think it is important to keep improving your knowledge with the best technology, niche technology and new technology as a whole. This means that we are always vendor and technology independent, providing the best unbiased solutions, delivering the best possible business outcomes to our customers, and adapting to existing technologies and preferences.

CTG: What is the proudest company’s performance over the past 12 months?
It’s hard to pick just one, but helping businesses adapt, overcome and succeed during a pandemic has been a huge achievement over the past 12 months.
I am very proud to work with NHS24 to help NHS24 grow rapidly to meet the 600% increase in demand for services when the pandemic is declared. Our team worked incredibly hard to take the burden off the overburdened team and completed a proof of concept in just 24 hours. It went live a few weeks later and created a more resilient and responsive service for the NHS24.
With NHS24, Ask Ave and Microsoft are a real testament to what we can accomplish when we are together and use smart technology forever.
CTG: What are you working on this year?
The partnership with Ensono is a crucial moment for Amido. Together, we will be able to deliver a complete stack ranging from technology strategy design to complex engineering and managed services.
We are very proud to see the amide develop and to take another important step towards realizing its great potential. It is the excitement of the endless possibilities that exist in all of those who have made our company what it is today.
We primarily focus on retailers, housing unions and government sectors to derive more value from their digital strategies, remove barriers to modernization, and accelerate overall growth, efficiency and innovation. Their organization is a team of two specialists who have come together to work on a truly exciting project.
CTG: Why are events like the Digital Technology Leader Awards so important to the IT industry?
The Digital Technology Leaders Awards recognize outstanding engineering and artistry possible in our industry. Especially last year, the pandemic has advanced smarter technology than we could have imagined. It’s great to recognize the effort put into these projects and to assess how far we’ve come as an industry.
