The What,
Invisible Ink Digital was created on the 10th June 2010, with a few humble key strokes from it’s author Tom Eldridge.
The goal of this blog is to navigate the social media landscape, it’s impact, and why its important to have a digital strategy.
The site over time will continue to grow, to contract, undergo a shift of perspective, reaffirm my views, or under go a process of re-invention. That’s the strength (and weakness) of any blog in that nothing is set in stone and ideas and views can change over time.
The Who,
My name is Tom Eldridge, and I was born in 1975 in London, UK. I continue to live in London with my super wife Emma and my daughters Daisy (Born in 2007), and Martha (2010).
What do I do? After a brief career in Investment Banking, my career path has been focused on implementing digital strategies in all varieties of workplaces. Digital Agencies, Start-ups, and global corporations, have all had a hand in shaping my career and outlook with their own unique challenges and rewards.
As a digital strategist working in the Entertainment Industry, the best thing about my job is helping to define and to put into practice the digital vision of my organisation.
The How,
Thinking about what makes a successful blog I was struct by one common theme – the best blogs are not necessarily those that have have compelling content (although that undoubtedly helps) but those that proactively seek the readers feedback. This is open invitation to those that come across this blog either by chance or design to offer your feedback.
